. is the first 'shelf' of the collection and comprises 16 titles issued in the year 2004, starting from March - the most famous manuscripts of the Biblioteca Estense Universitaria of Modena, the Biblioteca Civica of Verona and the Biblioteca Gambalunga of Rimini. The 16 titles together offer a complete picture of the various Italian and European illumination schools. Each title includes: Each title includes: A book of 64 colour-illustrated pages: a quick, yet complete study on the codex, accompanied by the most significant illustrations. A CD-ROM contains a facsimile high-resolution, high-definition digital reproduction of the unabridged manuscript and offers the possibility to enlarge each image up to 400% in order to analyse every single detail without losing quality. Each page of the codex can be opened, consulted and enlarged by all the most used operative systems through a free-distributed software (Acrobat and Adobe Reader) |
